My business is social media and translating data, insights and the latest innovations into real revenues and commercial value. As the co-founder and CMO of MVPindex, I help pioneer the way brands and agencies measure, activate and value social media engagement with properties (teams and leagues) and talent (athletes, celebrities and influencers).  As co-creator of a patent for measuring social media reach and engagement, I’ve helped to challenge traditional measurement methodologies and gain market adoption for a new standard.

The list of adopters includes some of the largest brands and largest spenders in media– major brands, agencies, leagues and teams, the likes of which include Nike, CAA, adidas, AB InBev, Twitch, Redbull, Endeavor, NASCAR, Falcons, PGA TOUR, United Talent Artists, Blackhawks, among others.

Throughout my career, I’ve launched new products, new business models and new businesses. How did I do it? I made it my business to challenge the status quo. I did it by building models that challenge “the way business has always been done”.  I’ve recruited talent; I’ve achieved investor buy-in; and I’ve collaborated with fellow entrepreneurs, all in the pursuit of pushing big visions forward.  During the dotcom era, I was a founding member of a top online job board which disrupted the traditional newspaper classifieds industry (Jobs.com).  More recently, during the rise of social media, I successfully created an award-winning social video collaboration platform (OpenACircle - 2008 Demo - Best in Show), a social media management agency servicing mid-to-large enterprises (LaunchFish - acquired 2011) and now MVPindex (merged with Umbel 2018).

Recognized as an industry thought leader, valued resource and subject matter expert, I have the privilege of working closely with the industry’s Heads of Research and other senior executives throughout social media and sponsorship to consult on how to navigate the social media landscape as it relates to activating with properties, talent, and corporate handles.
